Andover House – Andover, MA

Boehm Architecture, Designer with Principal, Client and Consultant Coordination, Full Documentation, Construction Administration

A family room addition and partial renovation to a colonial home in Andover. The design makes use of the asymmetrical salt box form, opening up to the outdoors with  expansive glazing and a large deck area, on level with the interior space. The connection between addition and existing becomes a moment of intricacy, with a clerestory and formal change in scale defining an entry area, shoe changing zone, and Loosian ‘theater box’ approach to the family room.
