Cambridge Duplex – Cambridge, MA

Collaborative design project to redevelop a run down, oddly proportioned building. The project made use of sustainable best practices, and reinterpreted the volume of the building with a language connecting to the informalities of the area. The design pushes away from an overly-precious solution towards an artistic and vibrant combination of materials and alternating surfaces. Detailing connects to Aalto and a more humanistic version of modernism.
