Transit Center – Fort Point Channel, Boston, MA Accepted as FinalistA new transit center picking up on the language of shipyards and piers – the decking and walkways fold up to become benches, shelters, and buildings. Solar orientation is maintained to allow for a self-powered station, with energy supplements from tidal pools. A café overlooks the coming and going of Boston Water Taxis.
